System Dashboard Monitors

The System Dashboards Monitors page displays all defined Monitors. You can adjust the list view by choosing to filter by All, Local, Production, Production Alerts, Remote, or Test and you can sort the content by Status or Name.

To display the System Dashboard Monitors page, click System Dashboards > Monitors in the Left Navigation Pane.

Click Open to display a Monitor diagram in the Diagram tab. Switch between the following tabs for additional information about the Monitor:

• Diagram. The Monitor's application diagram is color-coded to help you quickly assess Monitor status. Hovering over the diagram displays additional help text.
• Status. Displays status of each Resource and Test.
• Log. Displays the Monitor log, broken down by date and Resource. This same information is displayed in the Monitors log viewer (click Logs > Monitors in the Left Navigation Pane).
• Incidents. Displays the number of open/closed incidents at that specific date and time.

  Note: An “incident” is when a Monitor Test fails. That incident is “closed” when the failed Test succeeds.

• Notifications. Lists all notifications for that Monitor for the specified employee and date range. Note that a Monitor must be a Production Monitor (not a Test) in order to send notifications.
• Metrics. Displays a graph of the selected Metric for that Monitor if the Monitor has any Metrics associated with it. You can filter the content by a Metric attribute and value.

Viewing Monitor Diagrams in the Monitor Viewer

A standalone, non-interactive Monitor Viewer enables you to view individual Monitor diagrams outside the Reveille Web interface.
